Engle 'W' Camshaft

Engle 'W' Camshaft. Supplied with instructions and special lube. Drive wheel and new cam followers must be purchased separately (see below). Use with a pre '71 oil pump. The 'W' range of cams has a wide variety of choice - please specify when ordering.

Engle 'FK' Camshaft

Engle 'FK' Camshafts are a specialist range for large / drag race engines and are designed for use with 1.4:1 rockers. Supplied with instructions and special lube. The SCAT 'C' range of camshafts. Again, there is a large choice with different lifts and durations - specify when ordering.

Scat Camshaft Kits

SCAT Complete camshaft kits come complete with cam, gear, lifters, valve springs, retainers and valve collets. Choose from the C25 or C35 cam kits (see above for lift and duration specs).

Camshaft End Plugs

There are three types of end plug for the various different crankcases. German, VW Mexico and repro cases have a groove around the plug hole which can take either the metal or billet type plugs. VW Brazil cases do not have the groove and require a rubber plug - please specify which plug when ordering.

Cam Followers

Cam followers - it is essential when installing a new camshaft that new cam followers are used. Supplied in a set of 8. Light-weight followers, clearanced for high lift cams.

SCAT Cam Follower

SCAT lightweight cam followers - these are the lube-a-lobe type that has a small hole in the centre allowing extra oil through the cam lobe. Supplied as a set of 8.

Straight Cut Camshaft Drive Gears

Straight cut camshaft drive gears cause less HP loss through drag and thrust than equivalent helical cut gears. Choice of non-adjustable or adjustable ones.
