Super Race Engine Case

Brand new universal design engine case - shuffle pinned, spot faced, drilled and tapped for full-flow oil system and clearanced for 84mm stroker cranks. Supplied ready machined for popular bore sizes. Available with case-saver 8mm head studs or 10mm head studs - choose bore and stud size when ordering.

Brand new standard crankcases. Dual relief, supplied with oil pick-up tube. Choice of AS41 Magnesium Case or Aluminium Case (this is stronger but heavier and may require machining for counter-weighted cranks). Choose type when ordering.

Oil Gallery Plugs

The correct way to thoroughly clean an engine is to remove the oil gallery plugs. The kit includes enough aluminium screw plugs to replace the original pressed-in plugs after cleaning.

Camshaft End Plugs

There are three types of end plug for the various different crankcases. German, VW Mexico and repro cases have a groove around the plug hole which can take either the metal or billet type plugs. VW Brazil cases do not have the groove and require a rubber plug - please specify which plug when ordering.

We offer 3 main SCAT Forged long-stroke crankshafts. All offer a straight shot oil system, ground to exact sizes, magnafluxed and dynamically balanced, supplied with 8 dowel pins, grooved main journals, 2mm radiused and chamfered oil holes and nitrided for extra strength. Choose from the following sizes:

CB Super Race Con-Rods

CB Performance forged 4340 chromoly super race con-rods have an H-Beam design which is lighter yet stronger than the original VW version. Rod caps are engineered to reduce the amount of internal case clearancing required for long stroke cranks. Suitable for cranks upto 76mm without any clearancing work. Supplied with 5/16 inch ARP bolts. Available for VW or Chevy journals - specify when ordering.
