BRAND NEW genuine VW engines built in a universal crankcase by Volkswagen in Mexico. They are equipped with a 200mm flywheel and the heads are fitted with 35.5mm x 30mm valves with 9mm valve exhaust stems.

They have manual tappets and are suitable for most applications. We provide a 12 month / 10,000 mile warranty for these engines. They are supplied 'outright' with no exchange necessary.

Our complete engine is supplied as a 1600cc unit complete with all the heat exchangers, fan and cooling system, pulleys, alternator, etc. Supplied ready to fit and go!

1600cc Complete Engine

1600cc 12v Twin-port Type 1 or 2 engine. For all 'AD' engine codes. Supplied complete with case, new cylinder heads, carburettor, fan shroud and all cooling ancillaries, heat exchangers, coil, alternator, pulleys, leads, new 009 distributor. An exhaust is NOT included, but can be purchased separately.

Price includes a £100 surcharge which will be refunded upon return of your old unit. When buying a complete engine, you must return a complete engine to us otherwise we will not refund your core charge. Shipping costs for your new engine and return of your old one will be added at the checkout.
