In this section, we list all the repair panels that are made by VW Mexico - they are also listed in their respective areas as well. All these panels are made from thicker gauge steel and sharp, precise pressings for a perfect fit.

Genuine Heater Channels

Genuine VW heater channel. Really heavy duty steel, clean and precise pressings. These channels are simply the best. Suitable for 68-79 (not 1302/03) or can be made to fit earlier cars by modifying the heater outlet vent (channel itself is physically the same for all models). A bottom plate needs to be purchased separately.

Genuine Heater Channel Bottom Plate

Genuine VW version of the bottom plate of the heater channel. If you are buying the Genuine heater channels, you need to purchase this plate as well. If you are just replacing the bottom plate on your existing channel, then this is an option instead of the repro one. Fits 55-79 (not 1302/03). Specify LHS or RHS when ordering.

Genuine Spare Wheel & Fuel Tank Frame

Genuine VW version of the spare wheel section including the fuel tank frame. This is a heavy duty panel with clean and precise pressings - for those who want the best! Fits 61-79 cars, but fits earlier although technically 'looks' wrong.

Genuine Front Apron 68-79

Genuine VW front apron. This fits 68-79 cars (not 1200 models and not 1302/03 models). Thicker metal and quality pressings.

Genuine Front Inner Wing 61-79

Complete front inner wing panel. Genuine VW. These are available for 61-79 models (NOTE: they still have the later Europa style bumper mount, but these can be converted using our Bumper Bracket Conversion Kit). Also - they are NOT suitable for the 1302/03 models. RHS is a plain panel, but LHS has cut out and recess for fuel filler. Please specify side when ordering.

Genuine Front Wing 74-79

Genuine VW front wing for all models 74-79 (except 1302/03). This style has NO indicator slot on top, NO holes for the horn grill, but has bumper slots. Specify LHS or RHS when ordering. Can also use this on 68-74 models by drilling a hole in the top for the indicator.

Genuine Rear Wing 74-79

Genuine VW rear wing for Beetles 74-79. This style is the one that accepts the 'elephants foot' rear light cluster. This style still has the slightly wider bumper slot. Specify LHS or RHS when ordering. Can also be used on all cars that have this type of light unit!

Genuine VW Front Bonnet

Genuine VW front bonnet. Fits 68-79 models (not 1302/03). This VW version does not have the louvre vent or the plinth to mount a VW badge. Heavy quality steel and precise pressings. Best new bonnet on the market.
