If you want mild to wild, quiet to loud (perhaps too loud?), combo systems or exhausts for beach buggies, we can supply the lot! Thunderbird and EMPI exhausts come in complete packages, where as Bugpack brand come as silencers and header seperately.

Single Glass Pack - EMPI

Fits Type 1 or 2 vehicles with 1300cc - 1600cc.

4 into 1 header with 1 3/8 inch diameter pipe for engines 1300cc and over. This design is fairly good for ground clearance. EMPI brand, black finish. Small flange system with 1 & 3/8" pipework.

Large Flange Headers

Large flange header. All are 4-into-1 manifolds with large 1 & 1/2" pipework. These are suitable for Type 1 & 2 engines 1300-1600, BUT for for Vans after 1971 (ie those with fixed rear valences). All are Thunderbird brand, but will work with EMPI silencers. Available either in Black or Ceramic coated finish. Specify finish when ordering. Also available for Type 1 Euro Twin Tuck-Away.

Type 4 Header

These headers are only suitable for the 1700 - 2000cc engines fitted to Bay Vans and early Type 25s (rear panel may require minor mods on some T25s). Both types are made by Thunderbird and are available in a choice of finishes - specify when ordering.

Merged Headers

These merged headers provide maximum power through large diameter pipework and a long merged connector. They have integral 'J' tubes and cannot be used with single carbs or a standard thermostat. Can not be used on Bay vans. Suitable stingers are sold separately. Available in the following sizes, brands and applications - specify when ordering.

Streetmax Merged Header

This is a 1 & 5/8" diameter header and is similar in design to a stock system and hence can be used with a standard thermostat. This system will fit Type 1 and Type 2. Stock style 'J' tubes are included with flanged, bolt-together type joints. However, big bore heat exchangers can be used if you prefer. Prices include a matching stinger. Available in black or ceramic coated finishes. Both supplied by Bugpack. Specify finish when ordering.
